The Town of Hamburg Department of Youth, Recreation and Senior Services is accepting registration for this fall’s NFL Flag Football Program for boys and girls 6 to 8 and 12 to 14 years of age* at the Hamburg Recreation Center, 2892 Lakeview Road (Nike Base).
Preseason Combine and Team Development will take place Aug. 23 and 24, with a preseason scrimmage game set for Saturday, Aug. 26. Games will be played for one hour each and will be held on Saturdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. from Sept. 9 to Oct. 28.
Prior to registration, a parent or guardian must visit the NFL Flag Football website at www.nflflag.com/form/player and sign a waiver. Jerseys will not be ordered for participants until the waiver is signed.
The registration fee of $70 includes the NFL Flag jersey. It can be paid by credit card by phone through the Hamburg Recreation Office by calling 646-5145, online at www.hamburg-youth-rec-seniors.com or in person in the Rec Office at the Town of Hamburg Senior Community Center, 4540 Southwestern Blvd., Hamburg, NY, Door #9. *Village of Hamburg Recreation runs a program for children ages 10 and 11.
