BLAST CASTLE BUILDERS—A number of kids participated in the Blast on the Beach Sand Castle contest during the Blast on the Beach held July 29 in Hamburg Town Park.
First place winners were: Ellexus Henning, 16, top left and her team, clockwise from right, Breanna Henning, 12, Ary Sanders, 4 and Warren Roehrig, 3. Second place was won by the team consisting of Trevor Sealander, 10, Madelyn Sealander, 8, Brooklyn Swanson, 7, Emily Acker, 6, Owen Acker, 5 and Riley Zglinicki, 10. Third place winners were sisters Elizabeth and Susannah Hollander, both 8.
All won gift certificates from Edies Pizza and Just Fun, Blast on the Beach sponsors.
