Beloved father of Jesse (Karen) Czelusta and Joseph Czelusta; Devoted and loving ex-wife, Donna Czelusta; Loving son of the late Stanley and Adele (nee Lachowski) Czelusta; Dear brother of Annette (Theodore) Babinski and the late Nancy (late Lavern) Czelusta-Horn; Fond uncle of Jill (Andrew) and Jay; Cherished great uncle of Ty. 66 of Springhill, TN. Entered into rest August 7, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, TN with her family by her side. Beloved wife of 47 years of Michael J. Frick Sr. She and Mike were married on April 11, 1970. Devoted mother of Michael J. (Stacey) Frick, Michelle (Scott) Gray; cherished grandmother of Michael, Nathan, Alexia, Izabella Frick and Cole and Morgan Bengert; loving daughter of Ida (nee DiRienzo) Chirico; dear sister of Mary Pat (Robert) Zielinski, Theodore (Amy) Chirico; sister-in-law of Julie Chirico; fond aunt of Joseph Chirico, Tina, Thomas (Nicole), Klayton, Emalie and Annaleese Zielinski, Jennifer, Jessica, Joseph Chirico, Doug and Loghan Martin; also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins. (nee Nowak) Harrington; devoted father of Abby (Nicholas) Kay, Kristen (Jonathan) Mietus, Alyssa (Robert) Torres and Lanie (Adam Henderson) Harrington; cherished grandfather of Austin, Lily, Lucy and Gia; loving son of the late George Harrington and Norma (nee Bremer) Harrington; dear brother of Kelly Yuskiw, Jimmy Mullins and Sean Harrington; fond son-in-law of Judy Nowak; caring brother-in-law of Jeff (Becky), Wendy, Cheri (Thomas), Nick and Erica. McCARTHY – Thomas B.

August 5, 2017. Cherished son of Thomas (Colleen) McCarthy and Debra (nee Kowalewski) McCarthy. Dearest brother of Linda (Paul) Cole. Dear step-brother of Nicholas (Kristin) Welch and Daniel Welch. Loved and cherished companion of Lauren Clark and fond angels Benjamin and Emily Clark. Loving uncle of Paulie, Jacquelyn and Jonathan Cole. Also survived by aunts and uncles. Relatives and friends called Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at the CUSACK FUNERAL HOME, 250 Orchard Park Rd., W. Seneca, 828-1846 (same location as Sieck, Mast and Leslie F.H.), where the funeral was held on Thursday at 10:15 and from St. Teresa’s Church at 11 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of, expressions of sympathy may be made to Catch A Falling Star, 36 Woodgate Dr., Lancaster, NY 14086. Thomas was a former Erie Co. Deputy Sheriff and a Federal Corrections Officer and currently a Public Safety Camera Monitor with the Buffalo Police Dept. Thomas was especially proud of his contributions in his life to the Guardian Angel Foundation.

 

SMOLAREK – Robert F. Sr. “Smokey”

Of West Seneca, entered into rest August 9, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Davis); cherished fiance of Georgia Dick; devoted father of Joan (David) Houck, Jeannine Smolarek, Robert Smolarek Jr., Teresa Smolarek and Cindy (Kevin) Hunt; adored grandfather of Edward, Michael, Jason, Erica, Dexter and Maxwell; fond great-grandfather of five; loving son of the late Frank and Angeline Smolarek; dear brother of Terry Porter and the late Joanie; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends visited the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd near Lake Avenue on Sunday, 12-2PM. Funeral service immediately followed.
